Shipping Policy

Sum=R&D ("sumrd.com", "we" "our") utilizes a drop shipping model, and all items are shipped direct from the manufacturer, after an estimated processing window, unless otherwise specified on the product's landing page.  Shipping methods are handled by the manufacturer, and will be standard ground shipping, unless otherwise noted. Tracking will be provided via email once we have received it from the manufacturer. Shipping time frames are subject to change, and each product's landing page will provide a reasonable estimate for shipping times. An order can not be canceled after it ships. Any requests to have the item stopped, shipped to a different location, or returned to the manufacturer after the item ships but has not been received will be subject to any fees levied by the manufacturer and/or shipper, if the reroute/return is possible, and said fees will be need to be paid by the customer. Some items will ship via freight, or LTL, and each product will list this on the products landing page. Some vendors do not require signature service, and you will need to follow along with tracking to identify when your item will be delivered. Items that ship freight will have a liftgate included, and a request for a delivery appointment. The carrier will use the information provided at ordering to contact you for delivery appointments, if they utilize that method. Freight shipments are expected to be delivered within 48-72 hours after reaching the destination terminal. Any shipment that needs to be held longer than this will most likely incur storage fees that will need to be paid by the customer/recipient. The fees will vary depending on the carrier and the number of days the shipment is held. If you need to have your shipment delayed, please reach out to us to help set up your delivery. We do not offer expedited shipping. If you receive your product with shipping damage, please take photos of the packaging before opening, and the product itself. If item is shipped via freight, you may refuse delivery due to damage, or you may sign and accept delivery. Ensure you notate any damages on the Bill of Lading (BOL) before signing to receive, and contact us within 24 hours to notify us of shipping damages.
